After a good night’s sleep, alarm clocks began going off at 7:30 AM to be sure everyone was at breakfast by 8:00 AM. We had a full breakfast with lots of choices like eggs, bacon, hash browns, cereal, oatmeal, toast, and fresh fruit. After breakfast, everyone headed to their cabins
Opening Day was a great success at Hye Camp! After registration, the campers and their families gathered for a brief prayer service and welcome followed by an outdoor barbecue. After dinner, the CITs and counselors rounded up their campers and headed to their cabins for games and activities to help
On Thursday, July 30, 24 staff and 33 CITs gathered from around the Diocese for a three day training session prior to the arrival of their campers. During this training, the CITs and Staff worked together to prepare themselves for their leadership role at Hye Camp. Each morning, the staff
